Angela Sun es una galardonada presentadora de televisión y periodista. Su pasión por contar historias y su amor por los océanos motivaron la creación de este ambicioso proyecto. Oriunda de la Bahía de San Francisco, se licenció en la UCLA y también estudió en la Universidad de Nueva Gales del Sur, Sidney, donde realizó investigaciones de campo sobre la Gran Barrera de Coral, en concreto sobre los tiburones de arrecife. Buceadora naturalista titulada (Ecodiver), exploró los arrecifes de coral del mar de Andamán durante su participación en el programa de pasantías Malibu Reef Check. Forma parte del equipo de asesores de Ocean Defender Hawaii y ha trabajado para MTV News, ProSeiben Network y Current TV. 

Award-winning television host/journalist Angela Sun's passion for storytelling and love for the oceans led to the creation of this ambitious project. A Bay Area Native, she is a graduate of UCLA and also studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Angela has conducted field research on the Great Barrier Reef while at UNSW, focusing on the study of reef sharks. A certified EcoDiver, she surveyed the coral reefs of the Andaman Sea as part of the Malibu Reef Check internship program. She serves on the board or advisors for Ocean Defender Hawaii. She has produced for MTV News, ProSeiben Network, and Current TV.
